A piece of clothing is more than just fabric and thread; it’s a story. It begins with an idea—a sketch in a notebook, a feeling, a solution to a problem. For us, every UDAI garment starts with one question: “How will this make someone feel?”

This is the story of our Essential Blazer—a look behind the curtain at the process, the obsession with detail, and the journey from a simple concept to a timeless wardrobe staple.

The goal was clear: create a blazer that felt powerful without being rigid, classic without being dated. We started by deconstructing vintage menswear blazers, studying the way they created a strong shoulder line. We wanted to capture that authority but soften it for a modern, feminine silhouette. Our design process revolved around achieving the perfect “slouch”—a shoulder that is structured yet relaxed.
